BARS, RESTAURANTS & CAFÉS

Tullio E Manlia is a thriving bar and restaurant popular with both locals and the surrounding towns. It is situated beneath the main church of Roseto overlooking the amphitheathre and the wonderful scenery of the mountain.

The bar has a resident pizza chef, Leonardo, making great pizzas (every night during the summer, weekends during the winter) using fresh, local ingredients and a traditional wood-burning oven.

Lunches and dinners are served every day of the week, excluding Mondays during the winter, when the bar is closed.

The Rose & Crown Taverna run by Pep Rosato aka "Joe". A rustic bar and restaurant serving traditional Italian cuisine and English fare. Joe enjoys truffle hunting and often has truffle-infused dishes on offer. Ask for details! Joe speaks English and is a great point of contact for those who do not speak Italian. We recommend you buy Joe a beer and listen to some of his great Roseto stories. Joe's bar is the only bar for miles around where you can buy Peroni and cider on draught.

Bar Del Corso run by Philip and Rosa Pinto. You will find this popular bar and pizzeria in the piazza. A variety of coffees and pastries are available in the mornings. Table seating inside and out.

Bar Italia. Traditional Italian bar situated in the heart of the piazza. Inside and outside seating, serving coffees from six in the morning and alcohol until very late! The only table football table can be found here. Try your luck against some of the locals.
